Wes Holmes is a director, videographer, and producer based in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador. With more than a decade of experience in documentary, lifestyle, commercial, and episodic television, he has directed and delivered series for networks including Bell Fibe TV1, CBC, NTV, and ETV.
 

Wes’ work explores the connection between place, culture, and people, blending cinematic visuals with authenticity and lived experience. Whether working solo or assembling a team of trusted collaborators, he’s known for being hands-on, collaborative, and adaptable, able to lead a production from concept to delivery or integrate seamlessly into existing teams.

He is Transport Canada RPAS (Basic Operation) licensed, First Aid certified, and a member of the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC).
